Why did you choose to study engineering and the power engineering field?

I chose to study engineering because I was always interested in math and science. In addition, I chose a concentration in power after working for PSE&G and Con Edison because I became very interested in the power industry.

What do you love about the power engineering field? What excites you about being involved in the PE field?

I love the various fields within power engineering because there is so much to learn. I look forward to being involved in the field upon graduation.

How has been selected as a PES Scholar impacted you?

Being a PES Scholar is a great honor. It encouraged me to continue to pursue a career in the power field. The scholarship funds are also very helpful towards school.
