Christopher Louie King - Mississippi State University

I am attending Mississippi State University pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with an academic emphasis in Power Systems and Controls.  I expect to graduate in the spring 2017. Outside of school, I enjoy fishing, camping, water sports, and snow sports.

I chose to student engineering since I have always enjoyed electronics and technology growing up.  I did my co-op at a South MS Electric and recently accepted a full-time position with Georgia Pacific upon graduation.

What do you love about the power engineering field? What excites you about being involved in the PE field?

I am excited about being in the power engineering field since I enjoyed being challenged on the projects I was assigned while working at my co-op.  I look forward to what is waiting for me at Georgia Pacific.

How has been selected as a PES Scholar impacted you?

1. 1)    Realization that all my hard work is paying off.
