Power & Energy Education Committee (PEEC) Survey

The PEEC Survey was developed by the IEEE Power & Energy Society™ (PES) to help assess the current status of power engineering curricula. The purpose of this survey is to collect data on the state of power and energy engineering education in North America. Since it began, the survey has provided the engineering education community with valuable metrics and data on topics such as:

  • Programs teaching power engineering
  • Faculty members
  • Curricular trends
  • Research expenditures

A summary is published in the IEEE Transactions on Power Systems.

The 2011-2012 PEEC Survey is now closed! Thank you for your participation.
