To qualify, applicants must be a full-time student working towards a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.A, Puerto Rico or Canada, willing to take power engineering courses and have a GPA of at least 3.0. Start your application today.
Since 2014, Burns & McDonnell has invested in the support of scholarships for undergraduate electrical engineering students who focus on power and energy curriculum. “Burns & McDonnell is pleased to support power-focused students as they prepare to join our dynamic and challenging industry,” said Mike Beehler, vice president, Burns & McDonnell Transmission & Distribution Division. “These scholarships help provide well-trained new graduates to support us as we design and build the Next Generation (NxG) Utility.” Burns and McDonnell’s partnership has provided them with early access to scholars which has resulted in the hiring of over 20 PES Scholars for full-time positions. .
